ABOUT LASH EXTENSIONS

1. What is a lash consultation?

A lash consultation is where I will assess your lash health, determine the best style lashes (cat eye style, doll eye style, kitten eye style, round eye style...) depending on your eye shape, recommend the best type of lashes for you, choose the curl (c or d curl), provide information and answer any questions.

I recommend a lash consultation for everyone whether you are a returning client or a new client!

Please book in your consultation 10 minutes prior to the appointment time. If you are unable to book on the booking site, please DM on instagram or text, letting me know you would like a free consultation.

2. Are lash extensions suitable for me?

Lash extensions are for everyone! Book in for a lash consultation before your appointment so that we can do an in depth consultation to choose the best style and type of lashes for you!

LASH HEALTH

1. Are lash extensions damaging to my natural eyelashes?

Lash extensions can be damaging to your eyelashes if you choose the wrong lash tech. As a qualified lash tech, I carefully customise the lash lengths and weights so that it is healthy for your lashes. If lashes are not applied correctly and if you lash tech is not knowledgable of customising lash weights to suit different lashes, lash extensions can cause damage... It is important to do proper research and ask questions to your lash tech to ensure they are competent.

QUESTIONS ABOUT MY APPOINTMENT

1. How do I prepare for my appointment?

Remove all eye makeup, making sure your lashes are clean. A lash bath fee will be applied if you come with dirty lashes.
Dress comfy
Use the restroom beforehand
Avoid caffeine if you can

2. How long will my appointment take?

Depending on the type of lash type you are choosing from, and the amount of natural lashes you have. Classic lashes take roughly 2 hrs, hybrids and light volumes take around 2.5 hrs, volume lashes take 2hr 45 min and mega volumes take up to 3 hrs. Please give an extra 15-20 min on top of the estimated times as these are just rough estimates.

1. I got my lashes done from a different salon, can you do my refills?

Lash refills are typically only for returning clients however if the lashes are applied properly from the previous salon you went to, then we can do refills for you. If the lashes applied are not up to standard ( poor application ) then we will unfortunately not be able to do refills for you. In that given case, you can choose to instead get a removal and a fresh full set of lashes.

2. How many lashes do I have to have to get refills?

We offer a 2 week infill and a 3 week infill. In both cases, you need at least 30% of lash extensions to get refills.

1. Do you accept card?

Yes, we accept bank transfer, paypal and cash

2. Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We have a referral program both you and your friend can get $5 off your next appointment. The 'refer a friend' program works by referring someone to our business, and in exchange you will both get $5 off.

Here are the steps:

1. Refer someone to Saska Studio

2. Your friend will automatically get $5 off by letting us know they were referred by you

3. After their appointment, we will also give you $5 off for your next appointment

4. The more you refer, the more you save! For example; if you refer 2 friends successfully, then you get 2x $5 vouchers. Each $5 voucher can be used only once per appointment.

3. Do you have loyalty cards?

Yes we do! You will be given a loyalty card at your appointment! For every 6 visits, you will receive 20% off your next service!

HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST? & WAYS TO IMPROVE LONGEVITY OF LASHES

1. How long do they last?

Lash extensions roughly last 3-5 weeks depending on your lash cycle, weather, aftercare and lifestyle. Those who follow proper aftercare are likely to see longer lash retention.

2. Do I need a lash cleanser?

Although you can do without a lash cleanser, you will not get the same retention as someone who uses one. A lash cleanser is important because it cleans any build up, prevents lash mites, helps to ensure your lashes lash longer and is overall a necessity when having lash extensions. Our lash cleanser is only $15 and has the best formula. We noticed that clients who used the lash cleanser had better lash retention than those who did not use one.

3. How do I improve the longevity of my lashes? (lash retention)

We created a downloadable aftercare card so that you can save in your device! This card details all the aftercare tips you need to improve your lash retention!
